 Taverna Mandelina

Hier ein paar Fotos zu denen ich gar nicht viel sagen muss, denn sie sprechen für sich. Griechenland ist einfach schön und ich liebe die Gastfreundlichkeit der Korfioten. Nun da wir endlich eine Alternative zum schrecklichen Hotelessen gefunden haben, und jetzt mal ehrlich wer isst nicht gern?, bin ich total entspannt und kann meinen Urlaub endlich genießen. Die kleinen Tavernen von Moraitika Village in ihren typisch weiß/blauen Häusern , speziell die Taverna Mandelina in Moraitika, kann ich nur empfehlen! Die Taverna Mandelina wird von einem älteren Ehepaar und ihrem Sohn betrieben. Das Essen ist so frisch, dass man denken könnte es bewegt sich gleich wieder. Mit einem frisch gefangenen Fisch auf'm Teller kam der Besitzer stolz zu uns spaziert und präsentierte uns seine Empfehlung des Tages. Richtig lecker!

Just a few pics and I don't have to say anything, they've got their own words. Greece is a really beautiful country and I love the hospitality of the citizens of Corfu. We finally found a great alternative to the terrible food of the hotel, I think everybody likes to eat delicious food, and I gained my peace of mind once again. The small taverns of Moraitika Village have a special flair ,especially the white and pastell blue houses,and the atmosphere is really awesome. I recommend the Taverna Mandelina in Moraitika! A middle-aged married couple and their son run the small family restaurant. The food is very fresh and you could think that the fish is going to revive. The owner was really proud to present us the fresh fish which was caught this morning. Delicious!

Corfu Day 1

Der erste Tag in Korfu, um genau zu sein im Fischerdorf Moraitika, geht zuende und es gefällt mir richtig gut hier (außer das Hotelessen). Nachdem der erste Schock der Ankunft verdaut war, wir fuhren durch typisch südländische Gassen an Häusern vorbei die nicht gerade bewohnbar aussahen und das Hauptgebäude des Hotels sah nicht nach Luxus aus, konnte es nur noch besser werden. Zum Glück hat sich das geändert, als wir zu unserem Bungalow weg vom Haupthaus geführt wurden! Das Zimmer ist echt schön, die Klimaanlage tut ihren Zweck und die Terasse mit Garten inklusive Palmen lädt zum Chillen ein. Den Tag haben wir am Strand verbracht und die Sonne, das warme Meer und leckere Cocktails genossen! Einfach traumhaft!

Corfu day 1, to be precise Moraitika day 1. I really like the small fishermen's village and flair of the scenery (what I don't love is the terrible food of the hotel). The first shock, the bus drove through really small sideways and the houses are sordid and the  mainbuilding of our hotel did not seem to be luxury or clean, dissapeared after a hotelier guided us to our own cute bungalow. Fortunately, the bungalow is big enough for 2ppl and the furniture is typically greek. The air conditioner works and the terrace with garden, palms included, invites one to relax. We spent the whole day at the beach and enjoyed an awesome summer feeling and a great, warm ocean with delicious cocktails.Gorgeous!
